George Elvin
Founder of Gone Studio
GEORGE ELVIN is the founder of Gone Studio, a post-petroleum design company. His books and articles have been published by Wiley, Princeton Architectural Press, the American Institute of Architects, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is an Associate Professor of Architecture at Ball State University, and a former Visiting Fellow at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and the Center for Energy Research, Education and Service. For ten years he owned a design-build firm in Washington, DC, and in recent years he has delivered green building addresses and courses in North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
